3D Money Tree TUTORIAL stained glass pattern

The 3 dimensional Money Tree has five twisted copper branches each with a 5-6 leaved bracket. In Chinese culture, five is considered a lucky number and the twisted trunk Money Tree is symbolic of luck and is said to enhance wealth.

This is an intermediate stained glass pattern for the more experienced artist ready to start building three dimensional shapes. This pattern includes printable pattern pieces and step-by-step photos and instructions for making the leaves and branches.

The pattern has three different leaf sizes which are soldered to thin wire and arranged into a five leaved brackets, one per copper branch. This heavy glass plant is supported by floral foam in a flower pot filed with pebbles. This project is made with scrap pieces of green glass and glass gems, but could be made in any color or glass type.
